Hey Fashion Loves,
How have you all been? I am so excited to be sharing that a few months ago I received a raise and a slight promotion. I love being a Girl Boss in my own right. The power that comes with being a Girl Boss is huge to me. I am gaining new experiences and greater exposure in a positive way. In honor of becoming a Girl Boss in my 9 to 5 and in my hobby life, I am creating this post! When you become a boss you must level up your style and appearance as well (in my opinion). In doing so, I have been trying to revamp my style as much as possible.
Going into the new year I want to have a classy but still edgy look. As I slowly prepare myself for this new style of fashion for me, I am revamping my wardrobe day by day. As you have seen this cape on the blog before in a KC Style Collab post from earlier this year, I decided to redo it bigger and better this time. I am wearing this piece as a statement for a work/Boss day look. The color screams fierce and important! It being a cape is drama day in and day out. I can see myself wearing this piece a few more times before I retire it.
If you are a true FWC fashion lover you know that I find a lot of great things on Amazon. Amazon Prime is one of the best things that happened to me (my husband may not feel this way with all the packages I receive). I started simply buying phone accessories and then progressed into jewelry, and now fashion pieces. This pussy bow top was one I could not pass up. I snagged this beauty that is actually a very good quality, true to size, and the bow is an excellent length to be able to wear a lot of different ways. Pairing it with this cape made it Boss Babe official!
Of course I had to finish off this look with some very affordable ankle pants from my favorite “accidental clothing” spot Walmart (I always find clothes while “grocery shopping”). The ankle pants have a light design, are comfortable and super affordable. You will definitely see these again in my revamped Girl Boss style. Tell me what your work style is? Are you thinking of revamping your wardrobe in the future?
